Let's hope we can start to out spend the mighty CRYSTAL FUCKING PALACE from now on.

90% of clubs on that list will spend fortunes this summer.

We'll know doubt come away with a panic buy and a few loans with an option to buy!

Lots of prize money for winning the Prem plus lots more money from being the English team that went furthest in the CL, I expect.

Re: Forbes rich list - WHU 15th
Some teams simply shouldn't be allowed on that list, even if they have won the league and gone furthest in the champion's league. It lowers the whole tone of it.

Bloody riff raff.

Dortmund was bankrupt back in 2005. Munich bailed them out with a 2 million euro loan. Can't see that type of thing happening in the Premiership.

We were all but bankrupt in 2009

forgive my ignorance, but is that £491m that actual value of the club?

Still loans, freebies and borrowing money against future season ticket sales, you could not make it up !!

Now do a league with player investment figures, got a feeling we'll drop like a stone out of it then.

Not interested in PL clubs Willtell, look at the top European clubs in that table and then tell me we spend more on player fees than most of them in that table if any.....

Just illustrates what underachievers we are if we are in the company of that lot.

.... and to think it was only a few short years ago that Brady swapped the Heinz mayo in the club canteen for Happy Shopper mayo... oh and stopped the contract for the jelly sweets in the changing room... and stopped the Energy drink contract as well....

Re: Forbes rich list - WHU 15th
To be blunt....I don't give a stuff how much we spend...what I do care about is how we spend it...not enough due diligence on our buys is done beforehand

The Lanzini's of this world are where we get lucky...the Tore's are more akin to our scattergun approach

Side of Ham 3:39 Wed Jun 7
Re: Forbes rich list - WHU 15th
Vast majority of those in that table are top 4>6 teams in their leagues and guess what........they buy the best players often at the top prices.I'm not expecting us to do that, but i'm not happy with us being in that table for being rich on paper.

We stand out even more so than Leicester do for not belonging there and that table is there to show successful clubs or at the very least historically successful clubs. We are neither and Leicester scrape in through that PL trophy of theirs.

All them except us have major football success's
